It is true that it is becoming more and more difficult to succeed at Online Poker. This is mainly due to the fact that players play differently online to the way they would on an offline table.
However, there are things you can do to ensure that you play correctly online and spot the traps, the bluffs, the fish and the Sharks!
We will mainly focus on videos of real play. A picture is worth a thousand words, they say. Videos are worth much more. And seeing real players play real poker games will teach you about the most important concept in the game - position. You can read all the books you want on poker, but if you overlook the chapter on position you're off to a bad start already.
Another area we will look at is starting hands. Basically the cards that you should ALWAYS throw away, even if they look "pretty" or good. For example 9 2 suited might look good, but it should never be played unless you are short stacked an on the big blind.
We are not going to talk about every part of the game here on the hompage. We will explore all of the areas in more depth in the relevant sections of the site when we have them set up.
We also include essential tools that you just have to have. Why? Because the other players that win, have them. When you have software that will analyze your hole cards and tell you their expected value and rank. Tell you your win odds, pot odds and calculate your outs, you have an advantage. It doesn't mean that you are unbeatable, but it will help you make key decisions on when to fold or raise. This software will also record the stats of every player that you play against and will categorise them as to whether they are "tight good", "loose aggressive" or "fishy" just to name a few.
